After playing for say 10 minutes game freezes
After playing il2 storm of war for say 10 or 15 minute the game freezes
could this be down to insufficient memory or do I just need to bite the bullet and upgrade to a new pc ( if it`s just a matter of adding some memory to keep me going for now it will give me more time to save for an upgrade ) I copied and pasted my pc specs from belaric as follows --- gaphics card is the nvidia 275 ( bit confusing below ) Operating System System Model Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 (build 2600) Enclosure Type: Desktop Processor a Main Circuit Board b 3.00 gigahertz Intel Core2 Duo 64 kilobyte primary memory cache 4096 kilobyte secondary memory cache Board: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Is the forum you want for IL*2 Cliffs of Dover. This is the forum for IL*2 1946 (and earlier). XP seems to be a problem, and you can't add more than 4GB (which you already have) without changing to a 64 bit O/S. |
With that behaviour I'd suspect a too weak Power Supply Unit or a heating issue.
Try flying with case all open to see if you get a longer duration. |
