Servers availability

I'm willing to buy a copy of IL-2 Cliffs of Dover, howover theres something that concerns me and I'd like to know first, but couldn't find the answer anywhere.

Right now I play IL-2 1946, which the only source of public miltiplayer servers I know is HyperLobby. According to HyperLobby, there are some tens of servers for IL-2 1946, though the number of players only populate about 3 or 4 of them, and most have an unpleasing lag because they are mostly located in europe.

I know I cant rely on HyperLobby to get a similar statistic about IL-2 CoD, so I'm in the dark about it.

The question is: Is there a good amount of *populated* servers for IL-2 CoD? What about the regions, are there south-american servers?
