Thanks for the quick reply B6!
But that's really sad to hear... A good Korean, and maybe a Vietnam air combat simulator is what we really lack out there on the market IMO. |

Considering Korea was Luthier's project, his priorities have changed considerably. I hope the development continues to concentrate on WW2 theaters, but that doesn't mean they couldn't contract a third party to continue the Korean project.

While it is possible, it seems really really unlikely. |

Its has always been the business plan to contract out the game engine, but not for main theaters of WW2, which the development would keep for themselves. I don't know what kind of contract Luthier had with the development to build the Korean War theater, but that got set aside when he was brought in to take over the work on the WW2 theaters.

I also thought that MG was going to do the theaters themselves and then release SDK for 3rd party development, I did not know they contracted out for others to produce content I thought 3rd party developers were doing it on their own (not under contract). Interesting stuff indeed. |

There will still be an SDK for 3rd party developers, but anyone selling their work would probably have to contract out the game engine. Atleast this was part of the business model, but the sim is still unfinished, and anything could happen.
