treaty with the dwarves
where is this "creiston mines" im supposed to go through to get to the dwarves?
at what map? im completely lost and stuck and nowehre to go |
It`s in Arlania (the land to the east of Greenwort (the area you start in)). You pretty much just have to follow the main road, without turning left or right unless the road itself does. There will be a guard in front of a door. Talk to him, and he will let you in.
|
And months later:
I wanted to add this as I had the same problem. It was my habit not to run all the way down that road as the Hero Tiberius was blocking from my initial questing in the area and not to be confronted. So I never got down that road to see the entrance to the mines. Had to come here to find a clue. Now I'm level 11 and Tiberius is safely put to rest, giving me free reign of running up and down that road now. In fact I could have carefully dodged Tiberius from Level 1 Hopefully this will help a new player to NOT make the same mistake. I wasted a couple of hours looking around the Freedom Islands again (that's where the Dwarves are right?) before resorting to the forum here. Find some way to dodge the Impossible stacks and explore everywhere. |
Im a level 6 warrior with 3k leadership on impossible, and inside the mine, everything is very strong/fatal/invincible, and i cant go out the mine, because then Tiberius attacks me. On easy/normal/hard this was no problem... so any help

Why are you rushing there? If you are so low level it's because you have many stuff to do in Darion and Pirate Islands that are much more easy. Do them first.
|
Which level do you recommend then in Impossible?
|
In impossible? The max level possible! More seriously I don't know how much low this can be done. With a mage I finished Creiston mines at level 15 with almost 7k Leadership. I was level 14 at beginning of those mines.
|
Hmm level 6-14 will take at least 1-2 game days i guess...
|
It was 13H25 at day 4 at end of Creiston mines. Not very good because after coming back from pirates islands I had some stuff to do before starting the mines.
I had kill most stuff but I skip a bit too many stuff and had good xp percentage bonus but not the max xp bonus. You certainly could start Creiston mines at level 15. |
Ah well i *KNOW* i should start another impossible game and do that again, because my warrior is quite fucked up now :\
|
Impossible mode generates a different gameplay so even if you played some games on other modes I think it's still better to play at least once impossible mode without to take care too much of time.
I did the same error than you seem to have done and the result was I restarted too often some large part of the game including a full restart from the beginning. My lack of experience in this mode also made me collect a little series of wrong choices that doesn't help. |
So your saying now ive done easy/normal/hard i should try impossible first, doesnt matters if i finish in day 100?
|
That's the idea but that's just my 2 cents, and don't take any time pressure also change a lot the gameplay so that's not the perfect approach.
The problem I got when playing impossible mode after some games at normal was to not have a correct evaluation of the game parts. To not know yet which tactics still continue work well like in normal mode and those that don't work so well in impossible mode. To not know how the xp care could be more important than in normal mode. To not know that don't optimize the character is something you could regret in impossible mode. To not know what skills took more importance than in normal mode. Discovering all that stuff in impossible mode and trying to match or even beat best records is a bit too much. I feel that discovering first main aspect of impossible mode with a tempered time goal and then plan and do another game with an ambitious time goal would have been better for me. Now I'm not so far to end of my attempt it's too late. Ha well. |
