Every time I vulch Hawking AFB killing enemy planes on the ground, taking off or prior to their take off.

I don't have the numbers but I estimate that 20% + of my kills are the direct result of vulching... It is always a blast to see all that Flak/AAA firing among with some dogfights around. Usually take off with a bomb (unless I'm using the E1), after destroying ships or ground units I'll go there to empty my guns BnZing, then I'll run home towards the French coast like a girlie dragging Spits and Hurries to be gangbanged by the rest of the LW heading England... Sometimes I'm the one that is gangbanged. :P

Regards.

PS: Today was looking for trains for about 30 minutes, then a single Hurri jumped me, I then dove to run (as usual) and as soon I reached ground level I couldn't believe what I've had in front of me... The damn train locomotive expelling tons of withe smoke, used a little rudder and Boom!!! I could see the flames surrounding my airplane as it passed by... I was lucky not being caught in the blast.

Lol, getting killed is part of the game and I have no problems with that. Very often (like Krupi), I will stay with the plane untill the bitter end, even in hopeless situations. You guys did a pretty damned good job in that sortie and deserved your victories, BTW I did see you under my low 6.......about 0.5 sec before you pulled the trigger and it was a case of ....'oh shit! I'm about to be dead!' and I was!...... S:

Yeah that's lovely hobby dude, I very much enjoy hunting clumsy 109s vulching Hawkinge, I estimate that 40% + of my kills are lousy pilots like you climbing right in front of my guns because strafing and flying straight is the only thing they can do in a 109  No offence dude ;)

...waiting for the patch(es). :D

And almost every time I go online. There simply isn't a sim out there that can match this in the way it simulated the atmosphere of being there. Online FTW, getting better and better by every new patch.

Ricky it was definitely a human player as there are no AI fighters on ATAG at all. That's the way the sim deals with aerial victories - even after the player lands OK, you get a credit for the kill when he despawns, game saying you have killed an AI plane. Weird I know.

Ok thanks, good to know :)

One of my most exciting moments was rising in a Spit Ia to escort a flight of british bombers coming back from France and finding a 109 systematically taking them out with his cannons.

I took my time to climb and get into a nice hidden position and then took off his elevators while he was lining up his next kill.

Other exciting moment was forming up and flying with many other squadron mates during the Sunday campaign recently run. It's thrilling stuff just to know you're all player flown planes in formation.

The mutisquad campaign was a great moment too, I remember especially when we attacked a Stuka formation on the second mission, and the line of Hurricanes taxiing for takeoff, I really felt I was there in the BoB :)

Shame I couldn't participate in the last two missions...

The other night on ATAG I climbed my Spittie 1a to 12,000, flew over to France, and spotted a 109 below. I snuck in behind him and in a rare (for me) accurate burst I took off his left aileron. My first bounce!

Too bad I lost sight of him after that only pass...
