Seems it was implemented in last patch.
In my experience my own tank explode and the fuel starve in a matter of 10 seconds. (That pic with the hurri in an open cockpit is an hugly one :evil:) |

Because with the current bug there are two possibilities: - the fuel tank exploded really and should have exploded as conditions for explosion were met. Then it is wrong that a 109 flies on. - the fuel tank should have not exploded as the conditions were not met but it is shown as explosion. Then it is wrong that it is shown as explosion. Another issue is that I manage to explode 109s and sometimes Hurris but why never the spit? I do not want to say a priori that it's a bug; I say this that the DM as it currently works is damn intransparent in why things happen in the way they do and in general I have some doubts about the DM. That has nothing to do with biased. |
I read allot of threads that start as a bug inquiry then get turned inside out when people try to explain it into reality. It can get quite confusing and distorts the true models the development team are hopefully trying to achieve.
No offense anyone but perhaps these types of issues are better posted in the bug thread? |
41Sqn_Stormcrow, you can view other plane damage reports in single player to increase transparency of the model (see my signature). Not much help if you only play online though.
