Online Ground Target Help

I could use a few tips attacking targets in the online stike mode. I am currently am not having much luck destroying targets. I can go in and damage the other team for 7-15 points per attack run but I can't seem to destroy the targets. I do not have access to the b-17 yet but I do have a avardo and the 1000lb bombs that can be equipped and these still seem not to do alot. Any help/tips would be welcome

Its not about destroying the targets :)

its about making the tickets go down.


If you look at the top of the screen you'll see each teams tickets. A couple of direct hits with bombs on a target will take a ncie chunk out of those tickets. Its takes alot of bombs to destroy a target.

As long as your hitting the target then your doing just fine :)

a few simple facts:

The targets have health equal to: tickets/targets

the bigger the bomb, the more tickets that you can destroy
AND the bigger the bomb, the bigger the damage radius.
A 500kg bomb direct hit will give -14 tickets, but close to it will still reduce tickets. but a 50kg or rocket, has to be a direct hit to decrease tickets, and aa direct hit wil only reduce 0.5 ticket (so even 1 direct hit, will not show up in the ticket count)
