Mine arrived today and here are my first impressions.
Its much, much lighter than I thought it would be.
The stick is nice and responsive and the buttons are within easy reach. (for IL2 BOP at least)
I was worried about dreaded dead zone, but I found that apart from tiny little moments near dead centre of the stick there was no problem.
Also I've heard many complaints about the twisting rudder control, but again, it works fine for me.
One issue I found is that if you sit with it in your lap its really easy to push the lower mounted buttons by bringing it into your stomach area, which is surprisingly easy to do when your in the heat of battle.
Also the throttle control is a tad wierd with WEP being at the top of the throttle, so judging where 100% is when trying to consentrate on the screen is annoying. I'd prefer if WEP was a button rather than where it is now.
Overall, I'm much better at the game with the stick than without it, so its a well worth while purchase.
