Can anyone explain the somewhat arcane way that the leaderboard is worked out, how often it updates and what it all means?

I am also suffering much confusion as to how many games I have played/won so does anyone know if these details are hidden away in some obscure menu?

Can't look at your stats :(.
Not sure about the details of the leaderboards... be sure you play ranked matches in order to end up in it. As far as my experience goes they update quite fast.
In the leaderboards you can see the amount of kills (the plane icon), amount of points (star icon), and I believe games played (controller icon). I'm pretty sure I've missed one, but I'm too lazy to look it up at the moment. I'll get back to it as soon as I see it.

Accuracy is the other one ;) (the crosshair)

You can only see those 4 things, and only from the ranked matches.
Would have been nice to see kills/accuracy for each of your planes in the hangar, but you cant.
At least it will not bring in the stats wh*res who play without sportsmanship, just for the stats

Thanks for the quick replies Seraph and MorgothNL :)

A guess that things are kept nice and impenetrable to keep that 'serious PC flight sim flavour' and mysticism..

I wonder if any console owners were consulted when they developed this game for us?

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying this game immensely - but a few more console friendly features (especially in the lobby system) would have made things so much better.

@ Morgoth - I agree about the disadvantages of catering for stat-monkeys, I simply want to know how much closer I am to the various aerial 'Grail quests'...
