hi, and firstly i apolgise, the only threads i make are joystick related!

3 days ago i got the hotas, generally im happy with it, its just a case of finding a comfortable sitting position, but thats not what i want to ask you about.
im hoping you may have setup tips for the hotas as ive been fiddling with it and keep crashing on sim, primarily because i can recover from a spin.
can you please give examples of the settings you use so i can copy them and hopefully have more success, if i know a setting works for you, i know its me who needs to improve.
many thanks

Do you have the Thrustmaster HOTAS X for ps3?

If so, there's only two setups available for it on IL-2 BoP...

I played the demo on setup 2,but i switched to setup 1 on the full game, because of the zoom function and the easier flight command controls.

Apparently,You can map all functions on T master.but i believe it's only swap outs... I couldn't be arsed to do that anyway..i think the button mapping is quite good as it is.

What I would really like is a map of the buttons for the HOTAS. I like the set up but I have no idea what a few of the buttons do. Are some of them for issuing commands?

Someone posted some links to this here (http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=9239), although note that it is slightly wrong in that the Flaps control in Sim mode is actually L1 (at least from the demo it is).

Also, someone on another forum posted these images, which are setups 1 & 2 for sim mode only :
