Why can I not connect to a game?

Hi there,

First of all, loving the game. But, i cannot connect to any game. First of all it was saying that the servers were 'not available at this time'.

Then I've tried creating a match but nobody joined after 10 mins. Then I tried searching again using quick match of any type. It first says joining a game (which I can see behind the message screen) then it says 'leaving game' straight away. arrghhhhhhhhhh!

I just wonna shoot some people down :)

I can see some folk have played as there are some folk on the leaderboards!

I had that problem, too. No games to join or anything.


Would it help to trade PSN ID's?

I spent about 5 hours dogfighting online last night with the XBOX, connection was great, no lag - just a lot of bullets ripping holes in my wings! There does seem to be some problems with "starting" a room though. I suggest starting a room and then sending invites to people, this seemed to be the best way to get a dogfight going, otherwise you get the "servers down message".

But once flying the the multiplayer experience is truly exhilarating...but be warned...there seem to be some pretty decent pilots out there already, and the won't hesitate to blow your wings off...

Try Xbox 360 version... it works flawlessly online.
No, really, have a little patient. It is a new game and PS3 is not very mature for not Sony directly online supported titles.

What are people mostly playing, ranked or unranked. I am going to assume everyone will play ranked games and it will be hard to find an unranked game (like some other games I have).

I've just cleared all the tutorials so I'm going to head online and see what's happening.
