Allied A.I

Im a bit concerned about the Allied A.I. From the demo, i feel like its always a bit of a one man mission. Not once have i seen any friendly aircraft make a kill. Come to think of it, its rare i see any friendly aircraft at all. Even when i order them, i haven't seen one obey it. Has anyone else felt like this?

I've seen them sometimes when they are way off dogfighting some 109's. When I try to go over to meet up, it turns me back around.....they are too far....

I was starting to wonder, but today I was chasing a FW190, when some bullets came tearing over my shoulder - I looked over and saw another P-51. He hit the FW and caused an oil leak.
I then finished it off. It was good team work... although I didn't like the way he shot directly over my shoulder! lol

actually they do dogfight near u. I have gotten many of my kills stolen by my own team.

on sim when the stuka bit comes there are often quite a few bombers left up. I kill the stukas and there not there anymore (well there are a handfull left) i carry on wit the mission and often fly in the He-111's blind spot :D

I've seen the wingmen before, but they're usually off in the distance doing something on their own. I don't really mind, just as long as they do shoot something down?

I've always seen them on the mini map and flying around in the vicinity, but they never seem to be in the thick of things like you are. But also I rarely use the squad commands so that might be part of it.

When it comes to the bombing missions though, it would be nice to have the AI to cover you if your in a less mobile bomber.

I just seen a friendly down a enemy bomber!!! :grin:

Though i also saw when i crashed so did about 4 of my allies :confused:

Lol last game with tiger hunt, i told some to attack the target, instead of goin at the target they flew away. leaving me with only one other wingmen.

Then when 190´s were all around us i told my wingmen to attack the target, he kept yelling I cant see the target!
I was like Dude Look up, to the right or left, they are everywhere Especially behind us!
Then i died :(

I've had them cut me off before, trying to down the plane I was chasing.

Remember, when you press up to issue an attack order that only sends one plane. Press up two or three times and the AI should do the job.

Anyone know how to issue these comands on the TMaster?

Because theres no D pad on the joystick!
