After going through a few threads, and talking to different gamers online who have played the demo, the #1 thing everyone wants the ability to customize their controls. The main reason is EVERYONE I've talked to so far, hates having to hold down the Right Stick in order to look around because the RS doesn't always work, and it affects the rudders and throttle. A lot of people want the rudders on the triggers, throttle on the bumpers and ability to look around to be specific to the Right Stick with no strings attached.

That's just one option of a control scheme people want. So I'm making a poll which I want all of you to vote on. It's just a simple question of whether or not you want more options for customization.

Then, after you vote, please post your own personal suggestion for a control scheme you want added to the game. Most likely our suggestions won't be seen in the final release, but hopefully they will release our suggestions in the first game's update.

There are like 5 threads on this topic.

Starting a thread or a poll doesn't change the developer's minds.

I'm sure they are pretty much aware of this and maybe we can expect this in a DLC.

The point of this thread is be as clear as possible as to what control schemes/options we want.

It would be nice to be able to remap the buttons on the Aviator stick as well.

I would be satisfied to get trim and wheelbrakes for the AV8R. But not having used it so far I think these functions may be there but we just don't know where..?

Trim is the RB button
Brakes should be there by holding down throttle like console, but doesent.

I don“t know what happened behind scenes with the BOPs developers team, but there are many unbelievable mistakes and one of them is the control scheme. Controls like in Over G fighters were made to combat with a full situation awareness from the cockpit and you could control the view from inside effortlessly. Control the cockpit view in BOP is a real pain.

I pray for a DLC with all of these fixed.

Just signed up to the forum to support changing the right stick for looking about. It's quite difficult to use and it annoying. Apart from that, wicked game.

Over-G fighters is a great game! I am going to try if the AV8R works with it - after playing the IL-2 demo for 8-10 hours on sim mode

Extremely under rated, but an excellent game.

Definitely yes! The game looks fantastic but I can barely get through the demo. I just find myself screaming at the TV because the controls are so completely crazy. I have having all of the roll and pitch on the left stick, and the there has got to be a better way to put the throttle somewhere without having it mess with rudder and freelook controls. I would love to give this game a chance but the controls really ruin it for me.
