If this turns out to be true, this changes everything. OMG for driving games as well as games like BoP.

I read it on another IL2 forum mentioned. Anybody ever see any news on this?

It is rumored that they are, but they haven't announced it.

I believe someone working for them stated that they were working on consoles, but not ready for the market.

Natal for the Xbox 360 will be able to fill the same role. Anton was talking about possible integration of Natal to allow head movement to control the camera in either this game or its sequel.

Yeah Natal is going to be the TrackIR of the 360.

Natal would be great if they have true 6 DOF in the cockpits. Leaning to look around the nose or wings in Combat Simulator was great.

Yeah, and being able to flip the switches or push some buttons would be crazy!

I didn't even think of that. That would be pretty cool. They would probably have to limit it because trying push a lot of invisible buttons would be tough. :-x

But if it works as well as their demo videos suggest you could probably use your left hand for throttle, feet for pedals and right hand for flaps or trim or something like that.

I would rather keep Natal for just the camera, because trying to hit invisible buttons doesn't sound like much fun to me.

Yeah I still want a tangible controller, I just want head movement tracked.

Microsoft needs to get together with Saitek and develop a full line of flight controls for the Xbox 360. Just like there's all kinds of guitars and drums and mics for the 360 music games.

Flight Stick with the seperate throttle control like the Ace Edge, except much better like the Saitek X52.

Rudder Pedals

Knob and switch module like the ones that Saitek makes for PC.

As many flying games as there are coming out, they can make great use of a full blown system, even offer a high end gaming chair that all the MS/Saitek flight controls can be easily mounted to. It could even be connect by usb to move or vibrate according to whats going on in the game.
