Seeing as there is a very real possibilty of a full blown sim here, would clickable cockpits(ie. Blackshark) overcome the lack of keys on a console??
Having complete control of the aircraft is very apealing to me.
I'm not sure if this would push the consoles to hard or not.

I doubt this will happen because the mass of people that use consoles don't use a keyboard and a mouse. I don't see how it could be done unless you look around with the right stick click to lock then a arrow would appear for you to look at what you want to move then click that. Seems like it would be pretty complicated.

Anton has said there will be 100% power and then WEP so I doubt you will have to adjust fuel mixture and such.

Yes it would be amazing but like Trk said it would just be far too complicated

Yeah, I remember talking about this a couple of months ago. I would be neat to have a mouse or a dot in the middle of the screen, put it on the switch, and then click it. But that may be a while away.

Yeah i like the dot in the middle of the screen idea and could see how that could work, I would absolutely love to see it come true But how would it work in-Flight?

So yeah quite a while away ;)

I'd rather have buttons or keys mapped to controls or a good hotas. Clickable cockpits are not a good idea in combat.

Couldnt agree more, Buttons assigned to control the inside of your cockpit is a far more effective way of going about it.

I don't know if anyone considered this, or if it's even possible, but wouldn't it be possible to do that with the xbox controller keyboards?

I have one of those keyboards for my 360. It is part of the xbox 360 messenger kit. It comes with keyboard and a mic headset. IIRC it's around $40. It attatches right to the standard controller. the keys are quite small but it works.
