Life Totems and Giants

Hi all

I have noticed smthing now that I hired giants for the first time. While they get cured by samans' dancing axes they don't get the bonuses or life regeneration from the life totems. If I view the giants stats the Life totem icon doesn't appear below their portrait. So is this OK or a bug?

I think it's because they are immune to restoration magic. So they can only be healed through untraditional means. Be it spirit axes from shamans, or the flying gizmo through rage.
