I am in Desaster soft campaign trying the Knickebin mission for He111 which is easier now with the TF 4.0 mod makes night time more visible.
I have to meet over a city at certain altitude to pick up the radio wave. But I fly around and around and never get the message that I have pick up the beam.
Has anyone success at this technique?

You are set on NDB signal frequency?
Need assign key for "Primary Navigation Frequency" (NDB) and tune in frequency used (perhaps have this info in mission briefing).
Long Range Antenna frequency for default are 300 MHZ (is adjustable from 200 up to 600).

This instrument on upper/left side of panel (left of speedometer) should indicate if you are flying over the beam.
I dont know how Destastersoft use this system, but imagine a script to tell you when drop the bombs - you if are over the NDB signal - since in CloD dev's forget to model the Morse Code need for Knickebein (and Lorenz) work properly.

In il-2'46 this work properly (thanks TD) but in CloD I find a headache...

n this example the mission briefing told me to fly to Boulogne sur Mer and pick up the navigation beam at 3,000 feet. There are no waypoints set for you, so you need to navigate there manually, and try to pick up the beam by trial and error. I had to beetle around a bit before I locked onto it (hint: you do need to be pretty precise about your altitude) because in this case the beam was over the Boulogne-Alprech airfield, not Boulogne sur Mer city as I had expected from the briefing.
