Hi,

I started a normal, got to level 48 and decided to start again at impossible.

It seems I have killed all what was possible( one deadly left). I now need to kill the Ahriman at the cave entrance.

I am level 4, I have 8 bersekers, 13 Vikings, 1(2) Soothsayer, 6 Ancient Bears and 2(4) Jarls.
The army in front of me is unbeatable....

My scrolls are useless.

Now I am stuck. Anything I missed ?

Try different tactics. I also suggest dumping the bears and getting a viking unit in its place for the morale bonus.

If nothing works, I suggest starting a new game and hoping the available scrolls are more in your favor. "Call of natures" for example are pretty useful.

Hi,

well, something I tried, not very satisfying but it worked : I wondered if after one lost battle, if we come again, we are in front of the same army. The answer is : no. The army is weakened to what you killed on the previous battle.

Therefore, I just killed him in 2 battles.

By the way, I didnt get the scroll "call of nature" but anyway, as a Skald, I didnt improve my scroll book so I would not have been able to write in in the booK.

No one is epecting you to be able to write down the scrolls. Casting them from the scroll is even better as you won't have mana to cast more than one or two anyway.
