I think CoD uses kilometers, like IL-2 1946. If so, can the distance to an icon be changed to reflect miles, yards, or feet?

If I have my convergence sent at, say 150 yards, I would like to see that confirmed on the icon as I start firing.

The difference between the two is only 12 yards and so not very significant: 138 meters = 150.918635 yards...setting to 100m the lowest value available is the optimum choice. Holding your fire till 70m is the way to go ;)

That sounds right.

But, can the unit of measure be changed? Seeing a target at .43 km, for instance, doesn't tell us Yankees much.:)

When we are given altitude and distance info, it is in feet and miles. So, I think the icon distance should also be in those units, if only for the sake of consistency.

To answer your question no...metric is not so difficult though
.07 is 70m
.10 is 100m
.15 is 150m

meters = yards / 1.0936
Therefore:
yards = meters * 1.0936
