anyone try the newest Nvidia video driver 314.07 ? How well do they work with your flight sims? The reviews say they now have automatic game tuning.. or something to that effect.. and supposedly add a few fps..

I just purchased an EVGA Nv GTX 660 and immediately up'd it to driver 3.14.07

Gotta say I love that "glitchless", and looking good, Cliffs is flyable now! :-P

Well, yeah, for reference. I don't want to spend £920.59 for a video card just now.

It's probably just a coincidence, but my computer now tells me that I don't even have an Nvidia card, after trying to download the new driver. The installation was deemed unsuccessful, and the guys at Fry's Electronics are now trying to find out what the hell happened.

Film at eleven.

Is it a new thing with these drivers, or something I've missed prevously? The driver settings profile has an option to set a profile by folder name now.
The sets the profile for every .exe contained in that folder.

when I first downloaded and installed these latest drivers (314.07), my computer would not boot,, I had to go into safe mode and remove the drivers and re-install with all the 3d components (unchecked) for my computer to run again.. never had those problems before

I found out that the new drivers didn't load correctly, and now Windows 7 won't load, and may have some corrupted files which could require it to be reloaded.

No TF patch for me until that is all sorted out.
