Need some help with this lovely gem! Three mages in Alania

Hey everybody,

First of all, I would like to thank everybody that worked on this game. Although it is by no means perfect, I absolutely love it. It hits a strategy spot that hasn't been filled in years (sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker).

However, I am about to give up my game as a Skald because I'm stuck. After getting the Heart-thing from the Necromancer I devoted myself to getting the Staff of Starlight. However, after talking to the three mages, I don't know what to do next. The quest log tells me to visit three magic altars, but I can't find them. Where are they? Have I done something wrong? I really hope this is not a bug I've read about. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If any of you would be so kind as to tell me what to do, I'd be very grateful. I really want to finish this game. You guys are my last hope.

The altars are to the south of the tower... They are in a secluded area, when you enter Arlania from Greenwort it is straight down from where you enter the screen...

Thanks a bunch for the quick response! I'm currently at work, so won't be able to check if this works. Really hope so though, I've been enjoying the game a lot. Can I count on you if for some reason I still can't find the altars?
