I was wondering are there any items useable E.G.
(not including potions or items for crystal/scrolls)
but items that could give u +1 rage or w/e or xp
like in tl u had a potion(quest related that if u would use it u get 300 xp)
and a bear luring herb that if u used it u get +1 rage
Until now i haven't seen any quest related items that could give u anything
are they in the game?

there are a lot of usable items. Some let you get spell scrolls in exchange for crystals, others give rage or mana (without using up the item like potions, but finite number of uses) and many more.

I have not found any quest items that you can use yet... (Like in the other games, if you found an antidote for someone you could have a sip and gain some mana for example...)

There is an artifact called Dragon's blood (I recall) that gives you 150 LS but if you use it you gain permanent +100 LS but you lose the item.

I think it's odin blood but it isn't a quest item.

Ah, my bad. No, I haven't seen anything like that. Nor do I remember anything like that in previous games, but maybe I haven't paid enough attention.

I've been missing useable quest items so bad! I'm glad someone else noticed they're missing, too. But yeah, I'm at lvl 30 or so and haven't found one yet. I'll keep trying tho!

In the previous games (at least in Armored Princess) there were loads and loads of these quests item you could drink, chew, or do something else with to gain some bonus... One of the earliest was the Amulet of Illumination, which could be used to gain a small LD bonus...

Didnt you just get to keep that one after the quest?

Don't think so (not entirely sure) but i AM sure you could use it and gain a small permanent bonus...

There were tons of them in the last two games. Licking the demon's tongue, smelling the bear-attracting herbs, using the Amulet, prying out a gem; many of the quest related items had one-time bonuses if you used them.

Well, guess I just wasnt curious enough about those items. Not sure if I like the concept anyhow. It basically means you can miss out on a lot of helpful boni if you assume those quest items are irrelevant beyond, you know, the quest itself.
though I do see the appeal of making these items a bit more interesting to investigate.

You know you should try the first TL and AP and then try to use quest items
some lines were very funny to read, it added something of funnyness
which is really lacking in wotn
and besides that there were really like SMALL bonusses
it just gave a little bit more depth and touch in the game

I loved this aspect of the game, and it started in TL already with the very first quest - when you find some money in the old boots for your trainer... You get the chance to either keep the money or give it to him and gain XP instead for honesty. :)
