Such a waste of talent on that engine. It really is sad, that things are as they are.

An update as I have the pleasure and privilege of beta testing this redux of the GB campaign and all i can say is Heinkill, Bolox and Gabuzomeu are absolute genius's and the 18 missions they have rewritten and scripted will literally blow you away.

For an offline flyer it basically puts a proper campaign back in the package that the original developer never did.

Most of the missions are a tense, white knuckle ride as you attempt to complete an objective and land back at base with the Luftwaffe ready to pounce.
There are proper briefings and a historical context narrative to the battle so you feel part of a bigger BoB picture.

There are even medals to be won if you are successful.
If this had been the original release along with patch 1.11 then who knows what might have been. It goes to demonstrate the potential if skilled people in the community such as Heinkill can achieve this.

Looking at a December release which should be a nice early free Christmas present for those willing to jump back in the cockpit.

Patience.

Keep an eye on Heinkills blog and the Airwarfare site (links below) after Friday as we have found no showstoppers and it just needs packaging up.

Heinkill, Bolox and Gabuzomeu are absolute legends and it makes you wonder what could have been achieved.

A nice free Christmas present.

happy flying all

Done to mission 4 so far. 2 mission success and in the last, not so good ;)

I have 2 kills (1 Do17, 1 Stuka.) and I love the campaign is keep track of all my kills and tell me each time I start a mission how my progress is. Not easy mission though ... I went out to intercept some He111, use all ammo and when I am back and trying to land, I am jumped by 109s! Bam shot down.

I will restart but this time I keep some ammo in my guns! Haha.

A good job so far.

And no question a million times better than the original.

Have just downloaded & installed. One question - if I already had a "Cliiffs of dover"campaign going ,should I start again? The reason I ask is that I believe I started ( with new campaign at mission #3 or #4 and after 3 missions was at #6.
In any case thanks for updating this campaign -I've already recommended it to others!

yes, you should start a new campaign, you may run into problems with the scoring system if you do not start from 1st mission
