help regrading the elven castle

well, i entered the castle, talked to the dead king, went down the stairs and killed the mage and destroyed the book of death, now i cant exitthe castle, still says the door is locked, and there is no other exit, is it a bug or did i miss somethin?

there is another exit look for it. it's not a bug. you exit the castle somewhere in the woods.

i tried the other staircase on the left, but nothing to open it, really, been looking for quite some time now :S where is the exit??
