Advice need_ Should I go back to previous patch & hotfix?

I have a problem with rhe newest patch(12,October :)my 109 trim wheel no longer turns ,although trim still seems to work ,sort of by rote.This isn't a major game killer , merely inconvenient.What I wonder is this: is it a good idea to patch over the new install with the older patch in which the trim wheel worked,or leave things as they are & hope the next patch solves this small problem.I'm sure the newest patch has solved more problems that it created ,but quite frankly it was working pretty well (for me)before.
Any ideas?

Would that even work? If I'm understanding you correctly I doubt that would fix your issue

Personally I would verify the game in steam, that will take it back to the 'official' version, then re patch with the latest RC.
Something is presumably corrupt in your install, as my trim wheel works ok.
