~S~ Gentlemen,

The Hun is coming over in numbers and needs to be taught a lesson in British manners. The RAF faction in Air Combat Group are particularly interested right now in 'men of fighting age' (anyone) who can handle the RAF's latest fighter, the Spitfire. Standard is not of concern, complete beginners welcome, we are more interested in the right chap who is willing to get stuck into Jerry in our Air Combat Group events regularly, in particular the weekly raids and our campaign in France. We are an active and growing group but we are a bit short of Spitfire types right now so we'd like to fill that void a bit more.

ACG (www.aircombatgroup.co.uk) operate No.64 Squadron flying out of RAF Kenley, if you want to do some group flying with us please don't be shy - we are a very relaxed bunch with fun and immersion as priority. We run our own website and forums, teamspeak server and 2 servers online (ACG and 71st/ACG combined)

Hurricane pilots are equally welcome in ACG if you aren't the cavalier type, No.501 "County of Gloucester" Squadron is healthy and accepting pilots always.

PM me, or post here, or post in our forums http://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/forum/index.php (no registration required to post) or jump on our TS3 comms (Eurozone weekend evenings are best) 85.236.100.27:24637

Don't listen to Lord Haw Haw and Goebbels here willing pilots, the Bosch do take a pasting from our 303's on a regular basis :)

Farbs, JG26 look to have a strong response to the 1946 desert campaign so far, we'll have to talk about it again this week, see how it's going. We're doing OK for RAF, we are just still short on Spitfire guys in No.64 atm.

I spoke with JF about the Fall of France campaign, he sent me a map but it needed significant change so I'm still talking with him. Nevertheless we should all be rather busy for IL2

We are still after new chaps eager to take on the Hun. We have a campaign starting on Saturday in 1946 + HSFX, the Desert, an historical chronological co-op featuring Air Combat Group squadrons and 5./JG27.

PM me and we'll get you strapped in :)

I'm bumping this thread with an update. No.64 in ACG have been scoring victories against the Hun in the 3rd Multisquadron BOB campaign "Storm of War" run by Air Combat Group.

Ty joined No.64 last month and is now enjoying this campaign, taking off with his squadron on vital interception missions for the RAF flyers in ACG.

You too can join the fun, just see the opening post and do what is necessary. We are also welcoming to Hurricane pilots and our Axis forces are recruiting too. German speakers will go into 6./JG26 and English speakers into 5./JG27. We even have room for Bf110 pilots with 9./ZG26 recruiting.
