This old pdf show the dev work before Oleg left. It doesn't appear so.

But then what heavies were avail in 1940 for RAF? Stirling, Lancaster and Halifax were all still protypes no?

Hampden, Wellington and Whitley would count I think.

Would be a fine gift from the devs for us devoted followers of IL2 :)

I know when Oleg was around the Lancaster was one of his favorite aircraft. I can see the Lancaster being built sometime in the future. Either by the devs, modders, or as a third party paid addon. I actually think the devs should reserve the right to build it as a paid addon, considering amount of work it would require, and use it as another much needed revenue source. This aircraft and other complex bombers should be available free as AI aircraft but paid if you want a cockpit to fly them.

If they do this then they must do three other things.

1) Mosquito
2) Bouncing Bomb
3) Big Dams & Dam walls, when blown up send torrents of water down stream :)

Sorry Chivas, but for now we just need the bloody Wellington for 'someone's' sake. That's after they've managed to sort out the ridiculous performance of the Blenheim, with its ten ton truck in tow...

I mean....... I got used to the Blen being the only Brit bomber, but nerfing its performance such that emergency boost is needed pretty much everywhere is just extracting the michael to a degree.

Poor show. Needs sorting. Now.
