.
I know it is not a game error but because it is impossible to launch the game without Steam it is!
I have Avast my anti virus protection that give me a error with the following file "filesystemsteam.dll" and ask me to delete it should i do it? I do not think so? Bbut does someone have a solution?

If you Google it, many avast users have had this issue with steam after updating there avast version, including me..... I had it two weeks ago... It's avast flagging up a "fauls positive" .... Dissable avast in your avast control panel, update steam launcher, update avast viras databas and version if available... Restart your pc and you should be good to go...

MS Security essentials is pretty good.
Any malware that gets past MS Security Essentials is going to get past Avast too.
Quite frankly if you don't open random email attachments or warez downloads, you really don't need antivirus with win7 nowadays.
Going on 4 years of no antivirus here.

You can tell Avast to ignore this file.

You can add Steam folder to exclusions list AFAIK. I added Documents/1C too to avoid stutters.

I am using MS Security Essentials as well, never a problem. Very non-intrusive and free.

I had avast flag this Steam file as malware (vstdlib_s.dll) after a av update. Reported it to both Steam and Avast and the next day after a Steam system and Avast update all is good.
