View Full Version : Throttle bar
Hi.
How do i enable the little throttle bar you can have on your left side in the cockpit, it shows radiator, mixture, throttle settings etc?
I somehow clicked on it and it disappeared, even tried installing the game all over again but it is still missing.
any ideas?

If it's not already visible, enable the mouse cursor (default: F10)
Right click on the screen and select "new info window" from the pop-up menu.
Alt-click on the window to select it, then right click on it and select "customize" from the pop-up menu. The reason alt-click is needed is to differentiate between clicking on windows and clicking on cockpit instruments/levers/etc.
In the customization, on one column you will see the available displays and on the other one (which will probably be blank since it's a new window) you will see the displays enabled for that window.
Find the "motor controls" display in the list of available ones and click on the arrow-labeled buttons to move it to the list of enabled ones.
If needed, resize and drag the window where you want it on your screen.
Optional: you can further customize it by hiding the borders and title bar. Doing so will remove the ability to rezise and move it respectively.
Left-click outside the window to deselect it.
That's it ;)
Thanks alot. i have the bars back now.
But one more question, when i hide the title-bar and borders etc. i still can see the background of the window, before i just had the throttle bars right on the screen.
I have the analog bars, not the digital ones on engine info
I fixed it now. had to reset all my settings to default. deleted my config.ini files and turn off steam cloud so all settings are now default, also the throtte bars :)
time to go and rebind all my keys
thanks for your help :)

You didn't have to delete them and bind your keys from scratch
alt-click to select window
right-click for pop-up menu and select customize
somewhere in the menus you can find an option labeled "background alpha" or something like that
This is the transparency setting for the window, playing around with that value can give you an opaque, semi-transparent or totally transparent window.
