Hello everyone!

With CLOD still having some issues and IL2 1946 still the simulator of choice for many virtual pilots, why not take this opportunity to check out our website whilst you are waiting for a fixed CLOD to take off!!:-

We are a group (30+) of virtual pilots concentrating on flying for the RAF split into 4 Squadrons, from all corners of the world
All new recruits attend an official training program for a few weeks in an OTU unit before they get thrown into the real combat, so dont worry if you are only a beginner!

We fly Squadron training nights on a Tuesday each week
We fly our own dogfight server on a Friday night followed by co-ops flying many type of aircraft (fighters and bombers) Axis and Allies
We currently use IL2 1946 UP3 RC4 as our version of the game.

On a Sunday night, we fly our Offical Ops (mission) as part of an on-going, long-term, campaign. We are currently flying Mosquitos and Beaufighters in our Banff Campaign. The missions are unique and a new one is flown EVERY Sunday.

We have a structured scoring system and award promotions and gongs too! Could you be a Squadron Leader eventually ??

We take our flying seriously but we take our attitude to our on-line community and "Squadron Spirit" even more seriously. We are a good bunch of chaps and once you join us, you will find it very difficult to leave - I know, I have been there for nearly 10 years.

I have to add:
Before being posted to one of our 4 Squadrons, you will make 4 Asessement Flights with me, to get you used to the radio procedures,the use of our proper "skins" , the setup of our own Ventrillo server etc...etc...
You will be asked to read our "Handbook" so that finally, you will be a "full Tangmere Pilot"

I have been flying with these guys since 2005.
They are not just a great crowd with some very very talented mission builders,
they are also passionate about teamwork, authenticity, and above all making things fun for all.
I look forward to many more years of IL2 and COD flying with them.
