Hello everyone - its my first post here. Can you apprize how many more fps will be in CLOD after the upcoming patch ? I have I7 870 (2,93 ghz), 8 gb RAM 1600mHz and radeon HD 5770. I could play on old monitor 1280x1024 but now i owe dell 27" and native res is 2560x1440 - and it means I have bought a game I can't play even on minimum detail settings - especially on multiplayer and single missions over London with over 8-10 planes :(((( Do you think after patch clod will be playable for me at least in medium details ? I can play 1946 without any problems on native resolution and it looks much more better on high settings than CLOD on minimum details.

First thought is, you're gonna need a much better GFX card to be able to run it in 2560x1440. You can't settle for 1920x1080? It's more than enough really. Standard HD should suffice for now, at least until the patch arrives.
EDIT:
I wouldn't post that message here either, you've just bumped an old patch thread up. It may confuse people when they come here :) Try a new thread in the Technical/Performance forums :)

Well it would seem to me that if one wheel touches before the other, its 'toe out' would pull it in that direction before the other wheel touched and bit.
You're confusing toe in/ toe out with camber.
If this a a normal wheel from above (moving from the bottom to the top of the page): |
This would be toe out: \
This would be toe in: /
Camber relates to the wheel's degrees off the vertical (with relation to the durface it's standing on) and can quite easily be a few degrees off without causing the same pulling or pushing effect as toe in and toe out does.

But i was asking if game will run properly after applying a new patch (not now) on medium details even on full hd res. It is not a technical problem but curiosity

Hi
I have an i5 @ 4200Mhz
8 gig ram
Windows 7
Gforce 580 GTX 3 Gig Vram
SSD for windows and an SSD for Steam
Water cooling
I also have a Hazro 27" 2560x1440
I have started playing at this res again today because I find I can actually spot aircraft easier than at 1080p.
FPS isn't great on the deck (high 20s to low 30s) but I have everything on high except Grass is off and also forests on low or medium as these are things that are not optimised.
I also have the latest beta drivers and am playing around FXAA
P.S I found I didn't get much improvement of FPS and maybe that is because of the huge resolution & graphics card being the limiting factor.
I am thinking to get a second 580 GTX to see if I can just bump the fps up by 5-10 fps.

hmm... GF580 is quite a strong graphic cart but i won,t buy a new one just because CLOD is written so badly. I thing it should run properly on at least medium settings in 1080x1920 pix - like Rise of flight. I have bought this game in premiere day just after I bought a new computer and it is not fair that producers released a game which was not ready at that time... It is not ready even now and cost 1/3 of price in january 2011 :(((((
