Hi all,
in last trhee days I enjoied some hours on ATAG server and it was a pleasant experience. Just one thing I noticed, I dont know if it is due to the fortuity, and it is that damaged planes leave behind them only white plume of water/glycole or fuel; I didn't see any thick black trail of smoke or starting fire from crippled engines or fuel tanks. Personally I have downed or heavily damaged al least 7-8 among BR20-Ju88-109 but none of them produced black smoke; is this graphic effect gone with last patch or were they just misfortunate hits? Combats near me, at every altitudes, in a range of 3-8 miles the same...no black smoke just planes trailing white vapours. Very odd, did u notice the same?

I have noticed the same thing, I thought it was just another graphical bug and wasnt to worried as I am hoping it will be one of the things addressed by the graphical patch...

I am sure it had been brought up, but you know how this forum is, most informative posts get buried under miles of BS :)

As a side not, I am getting good at spotting the little white puffs online :D

I think the white smoke trails are a indication of lag if my memory serves me right.

Lol, your right there my friend..wonder how many pages would be left if we got rid of all the nasty stuff

yea but is that the smoke from damage or that weird cloud of vapour we sometimes see?

Its the large white vapour trail that seems to come from the center of the aircraft that's the lag.

I have seen black smoke but not often - have to hit the engine really hard. The massive white trailing cloud of white vapour is a bug.
