When the SDK is released what vehicle (not planes), building or other would you prefer to be added to CLOD?

If you have any reference then post it as well :)

I doubt anyone is going to build ground models (of a quality that validates the time to download them) but most obviously missing are the heavy german artillery (such as 15cm sFH 18, 10cm K18, 17cm K18 or 21cm Mörser 18 ) and any kind of british field artillery (25pdr and 4.5in Howitzer).

Other than that I'd like to have french textures for the french equipment which is currently limited to Panzer Grey (captured by the Wehrmacht).

Bikes: DKW SB 500, Zündapp K600, Royal Enfield Bullet, FN M86
Cars: DKW F7 or F8, BWM 327, Ford Model A or B, Citroen Rosalie, Citroen Traction Avant, Peugeut 201/202, Morris Eight

Royal Enfield Bullit,

Not the Bullet, it was not produced during the war years, instead you got the various RE WD models including the flying flea.

What I'm missing the most are British machine guns and light AA guns.

- Bren (tripod)
- Vickers machine gun
- Vickers K (field modded for AA and ground use ... not that important)
- 20mm Hispano LAA (http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=28091)
- Oerlikon 20mm

Of course at least some kind of British field artillery would be nice too.

RAF Air raid shelter wouldn't be too different to the current bomb store (rescaled)

Actually two static objects named "MG Team" would be useful to make a position more "lively". What I mean is a light Bren (for the Brits) and a light MG 34 (for the Germans) and a crew for that MG (three for the MG 34, don't know how many for the Brits). I know it won't make much of an impact but at least it would add some infantry fire to a static position.

And while we're at it ... how about a mortar for each army (i.e. 81mm Granatwerfer 34 for the Wehrmacht)? ;)

People

You see the splash screens that appear when you're loading up. They've got a guy helping a pilot out of his plane. In another, you see dudes standing around an airfield and an officer and his dog. They all help the pictures' airfields look like they're alive... Unlike what my airfields look like when i'm done populating them.

We need some static people. Hell, they've already got them standing around field kitchens and stuff, now if only we could get them to appear by themselves.

Hmm, Grace's Guide (http://www.gracesguide.co.uk/Royal_Enfield:_Bullet) says the bullet came out 1931, with a 350ccm and 500ccm engine.
But british and frensh bikes aren't my expertise, thats also a reason why I didn't listet any frensh bikes. (just for info FN is not frensh)

This is the "coached" version for airfield personnel transport (there was another version whose coach was not blended into the cab roof). I believe French used the standard Truck version a bunch before the fall of France. Then, Germans took over and continued to use them. I've seen British lash-ups for the desert war as well (extra fuel and water drums, cut down grills to improve cooling).

@ Färber

Now I see the pics. Perhaps the proxy at work blocks the hosting site.

1st pic: This shows the 10,5cm leichte Feldhaubitze 18 ... considered medium or even light artillery by the name already. What I listed in my post were heavy artillery pieces.

2nd pic: This shows an anti-aircraft setup which was not that numerous to begin with. What I was talking about was the ordinary ground role for the MG, either as "light MG" without the tripod or as "heavy MG" with the tripod.

You may not see a reason for me being this detailed but I am a fan of military history and a plastic modeler so I do have a penchant for accuracy and details. ;)

An there is a chance that new German items will be added in the sequel. The British won't be that lucky and I'm afraid won't have any machine guns or artillery for the next years :(

... and then used them against the Russians. Excellent, so they might be added with a Feldgrau skin in the sequel ;)

Like kodiak said, make a ship... Especially and English or French Destroyer.. A cruiser, or even just some big cargo ships.

indeed, a smaller and bigger freighter and a RN escort ship, even a sloop , would be welcome for the early channel battles. BUT, this is beating a dead horse since MG released the german minesweaper......

I would like to make a model of a british or german ship, but I lack the reference material. But if anyone was to come forward with blueprints and photos in the right quality I would like to take a crack at it :)

For now I will start with the car model, but when it is done I will be looking for a new project.

For me, what is most missing is railway cuttings and embankments and the like. In Britain, the age of the train was the 1850s, after that, the bridges were already up, the embankments were already built, the tunnels were already tunnelled. Signal boxes were frequent, now they are rarer because modern ones control longer stretches of track, and there were signals all over the place.

Good evening.

I certainly do miss capital ships of the royal navy + cruisers + escorts. It would be awesome to have a "real" channel battle going on with the Home Fleet defending the island while bombers trying to sink the battle ships and carriers.

Or nightly raids on naval harbours ...

I don't know why, but it games I love the view of sinking battle ships ...

cheers,
Dag
