Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to the best settings, tweaks etc I could be employing to get the best out of this simulator? (Before anyone says "Yeah.. upgrade!", that is not economically viable for the foreseeable future. lol)

My system is as follows:

OS: Windows 7 64bit
Processor: Q8400
Ram: 4gb DDR2
Graphics: Radeon HD6770 1gb

I'm also using Gamebooster 3 to close any extraneous system hogs and I'm getting a fairly smooth fly over London at an average 25fps with the following settings:

Resolution: 1280 x 1042 (Sometimes 1400 x 900 but I'm using my smaller monitor at the mo as it gives me 2 or 3 extra FPS. lol)

Fullscreen: On

Model Detail: Medium

Buildings Detail: Very Low

Land Detail: Low

Forest: Medium (Changed to low and very low with very little difference)

Visual Effects: Medium

Texture Quality: High (Medium only gives me 1 or 2 FPS)

Anti-Epilepsy: OFF

AA: OFF

SSAO: OFF

VSYNC: OFF

Damage Decals: Medium

Buildings Amount: Unlimited (Anything less is dog ugly and seems to contribute to stutters)

Land Shading: Medium

Grass: ON (Turning them off made almost no difference apart from aesthetically)

Shadows: ON (Same again)

Roads: ON (Yep... not much difference either way)

So... any suggestions from by fellow fliers would be very much appreciated as I'm after the best performance and visuals I can manage.

Thanks : )

NEW INFORMATION:

No need for a reply (Though I suspect one wasn't coming. LOL) as I have managed, with a bit of tweaking and a few changes to the settings, to get between 35 and 61 fps and I'm rather chuffed with the results.... now all I need is this legendary patch to turn up and I'll be laughing until I can afford to upgrade. : )
