ATAG server & stats

hey guys from ATAG!
thx for your server...without you guys, clod would be a dead game.
however, i would like to ask, if you could improve your stats page and include not only a kill counter for air,naval and ground targets, but also a death counter.
in my view, this would add a lot to the stats, as one could see how successful a player really is.and furthermore, i think it would change the way how people would use their plane.i think it would turn into a much more realistic behaviour of the online pilots.

but obviously you guys dont like the idea for some reason, because otherwise you would have already implemented such a category.
i would like to ask why.

Trust me, we want a death counter or a k/d ratio as much as you do ;)

You just gotta realize that for us non programmers writing 1000's of lines of code isn't exactly an easy task. Did I mention it has to somehow work as well? :D

It's being worked on, though. Only so much time in the day!

Hi everybody

As far as stats go does the ATAG server keep stats for COD flyers? I'm registered on the site and I've been registered on other online servers like Spits VS 109s so I kind of know how things work as far as looking up your statistics goes but I'm probably doing something wrong right?

For now these stats are very basic, and no kill/death ratio available yet. I did a quick look but didn't see your name; there are LOTS, though, so I could've easily missed it while scrolling down......or you fly under a different handle.

And oh boy is that a bummer LOL. The only real thing that I don't like about COD. The crappy track recorder. I can only show cockpit views :(

Yes. So many great movies were made with IL-2. If you had a good dogfight and you had your track recorder on there were so many possibilities for what you could do with it. If you were a good pilot and shot you could be making movies every week. I always thought if some noobs got a look maybe they could be entertained and learn some things.

You can do outside views. How did barfly do it without outside views?

You can also press escape and change manual view on/off during flights...

Can anyone answer a stupid question for me? I went into ATAG and could not see where I change/setup the name I fly under so it was just using the name on the Steam account. I need to start collecting stats under my proper squad name.

Hey mate..

It will use your steam account name in game.

Just goto steam profile and change your name there and viola...

All settings friends etc stay the same...only name changes

I have been trying to join the ATAG server and although I see it in the Game Server Directory website list as live I cannot see it in my server list in game.

There are no filters on that I can see are enabled. Any help appreciated.
