Has anyone gotten this running decently with a GTS 250? I still havent upgraded yet (hoping wife buy me new vid card) and until then I was wondering if it was worth getting Clod till I upgrade.

Those video cards are basically a updated 8800 GTS.. i'm afraid if will be a little not enough for ClOD .. If you have a 1 GB version you can play ok on low settings but not high for sure.

mine runs it on med offline nicely, with the exception of land shading on low and clouds off. I get an average of about 35fps with it. In all honesty thou, id keep my money and put it towards a stronger card.

I had a GTS 250 and got reasonable game play with it, roughly between 30-45 fps on med settings. You do get the occasional slow down or drop in fps but so does everyone, even with a super system.

Although it took some tweaking ingame and in my nvidia control panel...it did work well on med sets, now, as you can see by my sig, I have the EVGA GTX570 and it is smoking...love it.

I had a GTS250 512Mb installed during the early stages of CloDs release. It worked quite well on Med/low settings, no shadows, clouds/grass on Win7 64 after the first major updates came along. I checked TomsHardware site and the 1Mb version was listed two below my current 1Mb 560ti in terms of performance. I would certainly give it a try. Even with my 560ti I still run at Med/low with a few high settings.
