Hello All.

I have today received and installed CoD. There are a few things that I would like to know, mainly because it was sent to me from a shop and there was no plastic covering it. I did not receive a map like I read some of you have. I got the DVD and a bit of paper with the registration number on it, is this correct Is there a manual available? how do you change the game to joystick from keyboard, as I'm getting very embaressed with the instructor shouting at me!!

If someone could clear these questions for me Id be very grateful, and oh yes my version is:1742/1742 Nov11 2011, Steam API v012

You got the DVD with a bit of paper with the serial number?

Dude, WTF??

If you were in Russia I may say fair enough, but mate as a kiwi you should know better, what the hell kind of shop sent you that???

Re the manual etc, no there isnt much - it's mostly trial and error. To set up your joystick, go into options/controlls, then select the axis tab a tab at the top left - it's then pretty self explanatory.

Youtube is a good source of tutorials, other than that lots of trial and error - and read these forums for guides etc.

Good luck mate.

The map and manual came with the Limited addition release here in OZ(cost me over $100). I don't know that the paperback manual I got then is of any good now. I'm pretty sure theres a digital manual on the disk though. Don't panic with setup, (as long as it's not a copy) you may just need to do some searching for setup info.

Oh and welcome to COD.Good to have another pilot.

Thank you all, you have been very helpful and I appreciate it. By the look of the game I'm going to be around for a long time. Oh, nearly forgot, found the manual and how to change it to joystck, forums certainly do work.

regards, and thanks again,
