Fraps doesn't work and nether does the in game screen shot key :confused:

If you are running your Sim on True Full screen you need to map another key for your screenshots. The default "PrintScreen" key only works when you have a Pseudo Full screen.

I thought the trouble might be I have the screenshot key on Fraps mapped to something that is a duplicate in CloD (F10). I changed the key binding (to NumLock) but still no luck.

Thanks for the tip. I remap screenshot for F12 key - next do Print Screen and unused in default config - for screenshot and then work OK n FULL SCREEN mode.

I have no problems with Fraps. I'm guessing you are using the latest version?

I'm using version 3.4.2
Can't get it to work at all. Even if I assign the screenshot key to one which I am sure is not duplicated in the game

In-game screenshot key is bound to the same one that Steam uses. I believe you'll find screenshots in the Steam folders. If you want them to appear in your Documents/1C Softclub folder, change the in-game screenshot key. Steam appears to override the game in this instance.

I see a "screenshots" folder here
C:\Users\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\screenshots
but no screenshots are there

Don't see a "screenshots" folder in the steam folders

I can't remember the exact location of the screenshots you take using Steam, as I moved all mine to the easier 1C Softclub folder. I think it was in one of the other directories, maybe Public? Look for .tga files with huge names, like P20110930153432.tga or .jpg. I had them in there, but changed my screenshot key in game to the ~ key. Now I get all my screenshots in the 1C Softclub folder.

Try changing your in-game screenshot key, and then check your 1c Softclub folders. That should fix it.

I changed the screenshot key to what you did and it worked!
