I thought SLI was broken. Or I hoped SLI was boken because I can only get about 25 FPS of cities on medium settings and 8-10 on high with clouds off. Running 5760 x1080. However this log was captured just after running COD with no other apps runnnig.
Is hope lost for getting good FPS with this rig?

Yes.

to be more precise: Yes, for 5760 x 1080 resolution (jesus; You are worse than me! ;) ) and with this GPU.

Try to check what the utilisation of your VRAM is.
I presume you have a GPU with 3Gb of VRAM. But, when you run it in SLI mode, each GPU uses 1,5Gb.
At 5760 x 1080 resolution, you are immediately over 1,5Gb VRAM and your fps goes down the drain (halves).

Thanks Grathos
Hmmmm...bit of a bind here then. I have to run SLI to get 3 monitors running. I've tried reducing the resolution but seems to have no effect on FPS. I can get up to 45 FPS by reducing game settings further.
So it seems there isn't a way or card out there to run 3 monitors with this application yet.
Any suggestions for which resolution to try?

Hmmm...

This is my thread with my screen
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=23199

3072x1024 CoD in WINDOW mode (and my desktop is 3840x1024)

Why do you say you need to run SLI ???? I can also run the same resolution using only one card.
I have connected my monitors using Matrox's TrippleHead2Go, probably this makes the difference but I think you should check.
Especialy because your GTX590 should be able to use all 3Gb with one ccore and this should give you excellent performance.

I am using Nvidia surround. GTX 590 comes with 3 DVI ports. If you disable SLI Nvidia control panel disables surround. I don't know why I just play here.
I can get very good FPS on 1980 x 1080 single monitor no problemo. I will try reduced rez but screen looked goofy before when I tried it was shifted left and overscanning.
Does your TH2g stretch the side views? At the extreme L&R my views are strethec way out...distorted.

You can see the screenshots at the link I gave you and make your own mind.

CoD does not have the possibility of showing 3Renders the way IL2FB used to do therefore, the CoD screen is a bit streched and you see much less high and low (compared to a normal 4:3 view.

I lowered rez to 3840 x 720 runs WFO at 60fps w/vsync. Looks like Schmidt compared to the 5760 x 1080. Got AA turned all the way up and control panel looks like its covered in cling wrap...sigh:neutral:
I shouldn't have ever started it in 5760. I'd probably be happy with the way it looks now. Anyhoo, I guess when the GTX890 comes out this game will be a treat. Something to wish for xmas in 2015. Nvidia should be an official sponsor of this game I am sure it will drive their top-end sales for the next decade.

That is indicating that your rig is running SLI - however, if your rig is anything like mine, I seem to get no performance increase running SLI than if I run single GPU. FPS is at the very best 1 frame more with SLI working.

No idea what it's doing, but it doesn't seem to be rendering anything.

I had the same impression. I played around with overclocking the CPU though. I dropped it back to 3.4 GHZ and saw about a 25% drop in FPS. Set it abck to 4.1 GHz and FPS came back. Its like it is pushing duplicate data through both GPUs. Heating them both up pretty well too as you can see in the graphic.
