Hello.
So, I have the opportunity to buy CoD at a good price (15€). But my PC is getting a bit old (now that being said, RoF runs like butter with a lot of options maxed out).
Q6600 o/c 3,5Ghz.
4Gb RAM.
8800GTX (768Mb).
I'm playing in 1280x1024, so nothing HD and alike...
Would it be worth it or not?
Thanks guys. :)

I would say:
#1. For the money you will pay it is fantastic.
#2. You will not enjoy it at all in your PC for the following reasons:
Your CPU is very good and your RAM is sufficient but,
you use WinXP and this game runs miserably under WinXP and DX9
your card has only 768Mb VRAM and you need 1Gb-1,3Gb better 2Gb+ VRAM
Even if you install Win7-64 (an DX10), your card has lo performance under DX10
So, the way it may work for you is that you will try the game on your PC, you will see the mindblowing graphics (compared to old IL2), you will be dissapointed by the low frames per second fps and will start upgrading... ;)
It is not bad, you only need a new graphics card (and installing Win7-64 which in my opinion is a fantastic operating system and runs everything that used to run under XP).
(And you may need to change your power supply if it does not have enough wattage to power the new GPU).
So, for 15EUR, it is definitively worth the purchase.

I suspect that price for CloD .
Is it an unused copy ?
Is it a russian copy ?
Make sure its not already been steam registered .

I think it will run ok if you reduce the quality settings.
If you can trust the source then go ahead and buy it. Most of us payed a lot more. It can't get any cheaper can it? And if you have it you can just upgrade your computer at some point and enjoy it in full beauty.

Well, my 8800GTX died two weeks ago.
I changed it for a GTX560Ti Twin Frozr (MSI).
I guess I can now try CoD?
Thanks.
