Revised poll to cater for all those with 6GB and other set-ups. Sorry this wasn't in my first poll.

16Gb here - but more than 8 are not necessary for gaming at the time and might even slow down the system.

6Gb .. but isn't it a bit redundant as COD uses something like 1.5Gb - 2Gb?

There won't be any difference between 4Gb and 6Gb unless you have so much crap running in windows that you have less than 2Gb left for the game.

Running 8, but 32x applications dont use more than 3, a waist until CLOD goes 64x

I have 6GB of RAM and when i play the game the RAM rises to 80% use. So i'm often thrown out of the game...:(

"Older, single-threaded, 32-bit applications benefit very little from large expansions of system memory when only one application is running. We know from previous benchmarks and articles that 32-bit games running in 64-bit environments don't benefit much (sometimes at all) from system memory sizes above 4 GB, at least not in terms of frames per second."

I have 4 gig. I once put in another 4 to make 8gig and benchmarked the black death track... it made no difference.

I'll stick with 4gig
