Welcome to the 69 Gvardeiskii Istrebiteinii Aviatsionnii Polk of the Voyenno-Vozdushnye Sily
First is to explain a little about who the 69th are, and what they do:
The 69th Gv.IAP squad started up around August of 2003 and was founded by a number of players led by Skulls_Yanev (now with the callsign ROSHKO) who were a part of the European section of the Skull's Squad.
Over the last seven years we have established a capability that is almost unique in the online flying world, which is to carry out full combined operations. This involves strategic bombing, tactical ground attack, fighter escort and interceptor missions both from land bases and carrier borne ops. An online war mission will include several or all of these elements. We regularily field 20 plus human pilots in competition against other squadrons. So if you are looking for flying with a purpose rather than mindless online furballs…
If you are wondering what it feels like to fly with and against human opponents then look no further:
Visit our website Our Home (http://www.69giap.com/)
Really, what we are looking for are pilots who are willing to work together not for personal glory, but for the success of the squad, and the success of the mission.
We fly in European, Transatlantic and Amerika timezones with online war missions on both Sundays and Wednesdays. Training missions are run once a week and most days you will find pilots doing something or just out looking for trouble.
Unlike many squadrons we do not have a minimum age but we do expect under 18s to have parental approval. We have pilots aged between 13 and 65+ (and sometimes it’s hard to tell who is the “youngest”). What counts is not how good you are but what effort you are putting in and how much fun you are getting out of it.
We offer one on one basic flight training with real life pilots, specialist off and on-line weapons delivery training plus structured military formation and combat training with a real life airforce instructor. How far you want to go depends on what you put in, but don’t worry what counts most is having fun so if you just want to blow stuff up you will find some like minded souls…
The squad has a dedicated technical infrastructure with a powerful server in a commercial datacentre with high speed internet access. This manages large co-op and dogfight missions plus voice communications for the squadron.
We are currently actively building two new online campaigns, one for RoF and the other for Cliffs of Dover.
This is in conjunction with our regular involvement in several SEOW campaigns.
Visit our homepage and you will realise, this is the squadron home you have been looking for.
From newbies to veterans we all are equal.

We are 5. Staffel of JG27, a virtual fighter squadron. We represent a part of the Luftwaffe, mainly flying the BF109. We are also recruiting Bf110 heavy fighter pilots in our 9./ZG26 Zerstörer branch. We are looking for mature members aged 18+ primarily from Europe who enjoy playing online competitively in co-ops ( SEOW (http://seow.sourceforge.net/) ), dog fights as well as clan/unit matches/scrims.
We fly when ever we can on our Cliffs of Dover server (http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=25713) but Saturdays 20:00 GMT is our group weekly session. We also have an Optional flying session on Wednesdays at 20:00 GMT.
We are using TeamSpeak 3 to speak over net and all members are invited to come over and have a good time if we're flying or not!
We are recruiting all skill levels! But we fly full switch settings and always with closed cockpits!

Since you are reading this, we can assume that you have an interest in learning more about the AFJ. Please read the following and learn who and what the AFJ are.
The Allied Fighter Jocks are an online group of friends who have a mutual interest in online gaming, especially flying WWII era war planes. We are committed to fun, teamwork, honor, and building a strong unit with a foundation of uncompromising skill and intergrity.
Back in 1998, Janes Combat Flight Simulators released World War II Fighters. This game was based on English, North American, and German planes that fought in the European Theater from 1944 through 1945. Being one of the first flying simulators with a very strong online component, Janes Combat Net soon gathered a very large amount of people from all over the world. Very shortly after this, the individual players started the Squadrons, and where there are teams, there will be competition.
The first organized competition for WW2 Fighters was the All out War, idealized by my old friend Yossarian. All out War was a dogfight-based competition for Squadrons. No individual pilots were allowed to compete by themselves, which necessitated team skill.
Four pilots, four friends, Regor, Warpviper, Knothead and Pistnbroke, decided to create their own squad to compete in AOW.
They created the Allied Fighter Jocks!
Eight squadrons competed in the first AOW. They were the AFJ, 222, 365th, JG26, 663rd, 64th, ACS, and JG2. Right from the beginning, the AFJ showed how teamwork and camaraderie paid off by winning the first round of AOW. We continued to win every round we competed in, for a total of 9 out of 10 rounds.
For three years pilots have come and gone, rotating through tours of duty, but the AFJs skill level has remained among the highest in the JCN.
Many pilots have contributed to the success of the AFJ, too many to list. But the AFJs tactics and teamwork can be traced back to two AFJ legends, Knothead and Warpviper. Knothead, in my opinion was one of the best of the best that ever flew a flight simulator. He, and his wingman Warpviper, perfected the art of boom and zoom flying. Their perfect teamwork and tactics made them two of the most feared pilots in JCN. Their tactics and teamwork has been passed down throughout the years. This has created the foundation of the AFJs flying style and created other JCN legends such as T.Rex, Rhinox, Hughj, Mastiff, RedDeth and Taz, all of which have helped create the aura of an almost unbeatable squadron with their success in AOWs. As long as Janes WW2 fighters lives, the AFJ will fight hard to rule the sky. To see all of the AOW statistics please visit our War Stats section of the web page. www.fighterjocks.net
In 2001 a new combat based flight simulator hit the shelves called IL2 Sturmovik from 1C Maddox and Ubisoft, based on the Eastern Front of WWII. German and Soviet air forces go head to head in the skies of Eastern Europe. IL2 was a new challenge for the AFJ. Many pilots jumped right into IL2, where as some stayed behind in Janes WW2 Fighters. The AFJ IL-2 members took their combat experience and applied it to this new arena, turning their efforts into two Air Dominance Competition victories.
The following are the principles, which the AFJ is founded:
Our main goal is to have fun, doing with friends what we all love to do: fly and fight online simulators.
We will not forget the AFJ past, so it is imperative for us to invite only pilots that fulfill the AFJ standards:
- Above average flying skill.
- A gentlemanly attitude of chivalry and fair play in the matches we compete and practice.
- A good sense of humor and friendship.
- And above all, be able to have fun!
If you believe you have what it takes to be a part of the AFJ then please fill out are enlistment forms on our webpage

If you fly RAF or Luftwaffe in full switch, or would like to fly full switch then give us a shout. We're a laid back group where immersion and enjoyment is primary. We are of various nations in the European and North American timezones and communicate in English (to various standards) and German.
http://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/includes/images/logos/no64.pnghttp://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/includes/images/logos/no501.pnghttp://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/includes/images/logos/no615.pnghttp://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/includes/images/logos/no610.pnghttp://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/includes/images/logos/no111.pnghttp://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/includes/images/logos/no32.png
We run "Kenley Wing" operating Hurricanes from No.615 "County of Surrey" Squadron and No.111 (Fighter) Squadron supported by the daring Spitfires of No.64 Squadron. To complete the RAF we operate "Biggin Hill Wing" with No.501 "County of Gloucester" Squadron and No.32 Squadron on Hurricanes with Spitfires from No.610 "County of Chester" Squadron.
You don't have to be an ace, we are welcoming to all standards even if you've never flown before and can't yet start your engine. Training will be provided to get you flying and enjoying our activities via 6 OTU before posting to a squadron (largely based on your preferred type).

Our Luftwaffe operates as II./Gruppe and III./Gruppe of Jagdgeschwader 26 "Schlageter", the Abbeville boys and the 'natural enemy' of Kenley and Biggin Hill Wings using the Bf109 fighter. We also have a committed Zerstorer staffel in 6./ZG26 performing intruder raids in the Bf-110 heavy fighter. Our staffeln cater for German and English speakers though 6./ZG26 is purely English language.
We are frequently engaged in CoD fielding many pilots on both Allied and Axis. We gather regularly and fly together at altitude on the public servers available and regularly fly our own historical immersion based campaigns in our private server. When ACG form for these missions we are packed in the server from our factions plus large raids of AI bombers. These are not empty squadrons/staffeln, we operate according to historical numbers. At time of writing there are over 120 active pilots in ACG and growing.
All of these squadrons make up Air Combat Group and our goal is to have both factions fighting historically but remaining good friends, there IS a place for you. If you would like to know what we expect from members please read here:
http://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1086
We operate a Teamspeak 3 server at 85.236.100.27:16317, please come in at anytime. Our new website is at http://www.aircombatgroup.co.uk with all the information about us, our forums and a flight school if you want to know more. Please post freely (registration not required for guests).
Finally, if you just fancy flying with us then please come in, we are a public group for general activities.
Hope that's not too much reading, if you are interested just jump into our comms or make a post on our forums or shout at any of our members online

A new group full of people that's been around for a while. We like to have fun and have a good laugh together. We have some skilled pilots and some brand new to the genre. Skill isn't important. We are hoping to get into an SEOW type campaign for IL2COD amongst other things, eventually. You can watch us die, constantly, on our server :)

Calling all Dominion of Canada "Cliffs of Dover" pilots!
http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/6489/401mcnab.jpghttp://www.shearwateraviationmuseum.ns.ca/images/crests/squadrons/401sqn.jpg
Virtual No.401 "City of Westmount" Squadron RCAF is forming up for operations in association with the Air Combat Group.
(During the Battle of Britain period, 401 Squadron operated as No.1(C) Squadron RCAF, but to avoid confusion with the company 1C and other RAF squadrons, we will be operating the virtual squadron as No.401 throughout the virtual war - note that in the game the correct squadron to select is No. 1 Squadron RCAF)
We operate as a "full switch" realism squadron conducting formed wing operations on public servers and in association with No. 501 "County of Gloucester" squadron and No.64 Squadron.
All pilots from the North America time zones are most welcome to sign up (Canadian, American, etc.). Pilots from other regions of the world are also welcome, though the timezone differences might affect your ability to fly with the group regularly.
When on operations in "Cliffs of Dover" as No.401 Squadron we will be flying ROTOL constant speed prop equipped Hurricanes.
To begin, we will run two weekly scheduled flight times as follows:
Tuesdays at 8:30pm Eastern Standard Time
Sundays at 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time
Members will be required to use Teamspeak3 for comms (connection info to be given out to interested recruits) and to display No.401 tags when flying with the squadron.
PM me for more details and/or to sign up! Or visit our forum at 401squadron.boardforum.ca (http://401squadron.boardforum.ca)

JG27 Has been active in the online flight sim community since the days of Janes Air Combat. Alongside our old friends at AFJ we are among the oldest of all virtual online squadrons.
Over many years JG27 members have participated in many online wars and tournaments as well having a presence across most time zones on many DF servers. Currently our membership is playing both IL-2 1946 and CLOD, with a small base of active players across Europe, North and South America and a few in Oceania.
Please visit our website, forums and community sites and say hello.

We are always on the lookout for skilled virtual pilots who enjoy team play and who are prepared to play fairly and compete honourably.
The majority of pilots in our current roster are from member referrals, and are generally pilots that flew with JG27 squad members at HyperLobby. These pilots demonstrated the qualities that we seek in potential members and were subsequently asked to join our squad.

Hello all,
i would like to introduce my virtual wing.
http://www.amvi.it/forum/styles/we_clearblue/theme/images/illustration.png
The name is A.M.V.I. - Aeronautica Militare Virtuale Italiana which is a multi simulator italian community.
We actually use IL-2 Sturmovik (both 1946 and Cliffs of Dover and subsequent), Falcon BMS 4.32 and DCS Series as official.
We actively train every day starting at 21:00 A with the pre-flight briefing session and ready to fly at 21.30 A (all of three simulator's groups).
IL-2 Sturmovik Group actually flies on Axis side.
Further infos can be found at our official website (http://www.amvi.it).
We'll be glad to see all of you leaving a post on our official forum (http://www.amvi.it/forum) under "Nuovi Utenti e Aspiranti Allievi" section.
For any kind of questions, collaboration or everything else, please feel free to contact me or other members on our forum.
Best Regards,
Antonio "Superblu"
56 RAF Squadron(v) are a well established Squadron that flies on line and has a healthy mature content among it's membership. We do not have an age limit, only a maturity limit coupled with a sense of humour. Current ages range from 17 to 70.
We like to fly full switch and usually fly on the ATAG or SOW servers but sometime jump into the dogfight servers for a quick bit of relaxation.
Our flying is wingman/formation oriented and we undertake periodic training to keep sharp as well as training on a one-to-one buddy basis for newcomers. We take all-comers whether experienced or complete newbies.
Our Squad nights are Sundays and Wednesdays from 8pm to 10pm UK time but we are usually online before and after that. You will also often find some of us online on other evenings too. There are no strict attendance rules, we find guys either turn up on a regular basis or they fade away. The nature of our squad does tend to attract guys that stay. Did I say 'guys'? That includes 'gals' too - you could be the first!
We have our own Teamspeak3 server for training, special events etc., although when flying in an online server we usually use their TS3 for best comms with others.
If you would like to try us out please use the 'Recruitment Officer' link under 'Contact us' on our Website ( http://firebirds.2ndtaf.org.uk/ ). The website also reflects our history in IL-2 1946 and many of the themes are common to CoD including the Rosters (sim-identified), Training pages, etc..
Jump in and try us.

II./JG53 is a Bf109 and Ju88 Co-op squadron with a worldwide membership.
We are a long established squadron who has flown through many incarnations of the IL2 series whilst performing a "war long" virtual campaign where every pilots statistics are tracked giving each pilot their own virtual career and advancement as we progress through the war.
Having recently moved across to the Cliffs of Dover game engine we have been slowly overcoming the issues with the game to ensure that we can continue our co-operative and teamwork orientated focus in the new game engine. With most of these successes under our belts we are now slowly rolling out our new recruitment and training programmes.
http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t211/JG53_Valantine/BFS.png
II./JG53 is now accepting new recruits across all time zones. We have recently created an entirely new training programme based off of our Training Staff's experience with the highly successful Joint Ops programme. As such all new entrants are required to participate in the Basic Flight School in order to graduate into one of our main Staffels and begin operating in our official campaign missions.
The first "Class" will be beginning the Basic Flight School very soon which will consist of 4 sessions on a Saturday evening commencing at 19:00 GMT. Places in this class are running out fast with only three seats remaining. If you do not secure a place in Class one please feel free to sign up still, there will just be a little wait before Class two commences.
We recruit pilots from across the Globe for both the Bf109 and the Ju88. Our group is primarily a BF109 group with Weisse Staffel operating out of Europe, Rote Staffel operating out of the USA, Gelbe Staffel operating out of Australia and our Kampf Staffel flying alongside the three main fighter staffels as pilots timezones permit. Obviously if you are assigned to one Staffel you are most certainly free to fly with the others as and when you are able to do so.
If you are a Bf109 or Ju88 pilot within the Cliffs of Dover game engine and fancy flying a co-operative campaign that spans the entire war (currently performing operations over France in early June 1940) with a bunch of friendly chaps from various places across the globe then please feel free to check out the JG53 website found here at www.iijg53.com
Please note, as a group we no longer support IL2 46 - although many of our members do continue to fly IL2 46 online via hyperlobby as a group all of our missions and training are conducted in the Cliffs of Dover game engine. Please feel free to look around our website and see if we are the right group for you, if you have any questions then the public area of the forum can be posted on without registration where we will answer your questions as best as possible.
I hope to see you in the virtual skies with us soon.

Ahh I see it now - right at the bottom. I see there are lots of Languages, thats good.
However when you go to squads there are over 500 in a pile, there is no way to sort them that I can see. Would be nice if you could sort by red fighter or blue bomber etc.
If you squad is listed there how can we change the description, as the ones you have are not quite up to date for us.
It looks good though, good work!
