I was hoping I wouldn't have to spend 90 odd pounds as I remember seeing on the Ubi website for about 50€ or so.

Actually, the collector's edition was about 70 Euros or so.

There's still a mark-up involved in the current pricing but it's not as big, if that makes you feel any better ;-)
