Guys, after years and years of gathering info material I realised that my hard drive is stashed with manuals, pictures and what not on the Italian fighters, I've been thinking for a while to create a website that would gather all this info in an tidy and standardised manner, in order to create something like this http://www.cockpitinstrumente.de/ but with a bit of a better touch in terms of interface.

If you would like to help and/or have material that could be of use, please PM me and I will get to work on a plan ASAP.

mmmh kind of, but I'd rather focus it on a specific encyclopaedic channel. There is a lot of material out there that needs to be gathered and organised, and I really think the time is now, since we have the technology for it.

I have nothing to offer but my encouragement. This is a very worthwhile project. I have a great appreciation of the Italian aircraft used in WW2, and it is a subject that gets overlooked a lot by aviation enthusiasts in my country.

One of my favorite exhibits at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio is the beautifully restored MC 200.

Such a pretty, and tidy little aircraft.

Hello,

I saw this thread, I am running avialogs.com (http://avialogs.com/) . The site is right now under construction and is still not totally structured but has all tools to build your project.

Right now and for the next 6 months probably, I finish to upload and organize documents (around 10000 in the queue) , next step will be to create sections dedicated to various thematics and periods in order to link various medias (documents/movies/photos/infos)

Feel free to pm me.
