Quadcore I5 running at 4x3,5 ghz overclocked, HD 5850, 4GB Ram

What performance should he expect?

it should be running fine, as long as he doesn´t pump the settings too high.

my settings:

Resolution 1680x1050x32

Model Detail: High
Damage Detail: High
Visual Effects: High
Texture Quality: High
Shadows, Grass, Roads: On
AEF, SSAO, Vsync: Off
MSAA: Off
AF: 16x or off, depending if the driver is capable of forcing it

Besides some stutters over London (altitude between 30-300ft), it runs smoothly.
