Sheterra + Beasts Lair

Is there a way to fight the captive creatures in the Sheterra Beasts Lair?

I killed Von Crakow, and when I hover over the captives it shows them as 'weak enemy', but I can't seem to figure out how to get my hands on them...

I don't think so, I wasn't able to fight the captured devilfish on Debir either. (although thinking about it now, maybe I can fly over and land in their trap?)
