steam and CoD servers?

Has this issue been solved now,where steam closed the servers every few hours? Not heard it talked about lately.

Yesterday all users on R3 got disconnectet, my guess, either steamerror or serverhickup.
but that might be something that ataros can answer.

if you want to tell if it was steam that logged you off go into your Steam root folder open the logs folder and open connection_log.txt go to the bottom of the file and you will see something like this
[2011-07-31 21:18:01] [3,2] LogOff()
[2011-07-31 21:18:01] [2,2] AsyncDisconnect()
[2011-07-31 21:18:01] [0,0] ConnectionDisconnected('Disconnected By Remote Host') : 'OK' (68.142.91.36:27017, UDP)

when ever a server gets logged off by steam you will see the above info in the servers connection_log.txt file.

if you log yourself off (Steam) it will look like this

[2011-07-31 21:18:01] [0,0] ConnectionDisconnected() not auto reconnecting due to user initiated logoff

Before the patch servers logged off of Steam with a pop-up window every day. Now it is once a week or more seldom. Partial client disconnects still happen.
