View Full Version : Leader Board and Stats Explained!

Hey Guys,

I was playing a few games with Shadowcorp and the subject of the Leaderboards came up. I mean Shadow, totally dominated and his stats went down, while I did not do so well and mine went up!?!? New players and Vets alike ask me how do the stats work? Now I guess I sound smarter than I really am but the question has come up often enough for me to wrap my brain around the issue and here is what I discovered!

We will use my team player in realistic stats as an example:
Ok... if you take your games played # (310) multiply that by your shooting percentage 46% add in your planes shot down. Take that number and divide it by your total stars.... add the atomic number of carbon (12.0107) mulitply that by the number of electrons in carbon (6)... divide by PI (3.14) *Note: I used 3.14 to keep it simple. You can add more decimal places if you want a more accurate number.* Now take that total and find the square root and then add your current level divided by 4. And that is how you figure out how your stats came to be! A bunch of random numbers that make no sense to anyone with sense!

Take care guys happy flying! lol

I'm not sure, but I do believe that you missed out a cpl of variables there Chamelion; The number of loops you do in a mission is counter-proportional with the square-root of the actual number of barrelrolls you performed in the last half of the former mission you did in CTA.

I for one go for dkwookies notion as he sums it up like this; 'the leaderboard is up there with the rubic cube and reality tv shows in things I will never understand.'

Aaaaah.......Chameleonlord my son....bless you my child.....for thee has entered the quest for the Holy Grail......;)

I once asked the masters the same question...."grasshopper" they said....such innocents.......:(

Believe me.....I have tried every combo of numbers and stat's I could think of. Faithfully written all the game stat's down after each match.......worked out the what's and why's......but alas it a mistery !

I am about 30 something in Realistic CTA.....And I dont deserve to be their.....I cant capture the cloth's line going round, let alone capture and hold an Airfield !....i just have fun...!

My spin on it......think Anton is an Xboxer .....by all accounts the scoreboard is ok for the Light Brotherhood...??.. only us BratPack PS3 rebels get a scoreboard that goes up and down more than a pair of nun's knickers !

You sure? That's a piece of piss in comparison to the logic used in the scoreboards!

I'm sure somewhere in the motherland there's a chimp with a keyboard and monitor with access to the online scoreboards..........

Must have been sneaking on to shoot at Dover radar station if you are at the top mind....in a PO-2....with an inverted pad.....on a crescent moonlit night.....after a supper of kippers and custard....whilst dolphins in the fjord whistle the theme to the Battle of Britain.

So after an entire year chasing aircraft around it really does come down to the Kippers and Dolphins. I always felt they were the key component.Must have been sneaking on to shoot at Dover radar station if you are at the top mind....in a PO-2....with an inverted pad.....on a crescent moonlit night.....after a supper of kippers and custard....whilst dolphins in the fjord whistle the theme to the Battle of Britain.

Think this will make the dolphin element so much more clearer...
