For anyone interested, there's a thorough article of flying the Bf-109 Emil by Rob Erdos. I found it very informative and the site has plenty of interesting articles of vintage airplanes, check it out!

I've heard that the Russell Aviation Emil is for sale. Asking price is $10,000,000.

Is that the Emil that scraped a fence on landing?

The story I heard is that the owner of the Emil got into a pissing contest with a neighbor. The neighbor put up a large pole (on his own property) at the end of the runway. The Emil clipped the pole.

Ah, okay, I did try various searches before posting, but didn't find anything. Let's take it as a memory refreshment then shall we? :)
