Just got the game. I'm running x2 GTX 470s. Framerate over London is sadly just under 20 FPS with everything maxed out, but I'm clearly only using one card.

Is there something I need to do in order to enable SLI mode? My nVidia Control Panel has a global setting to use both cards. I have nVidia Inspector. Are there settings that need to be set in order to get everything up and running nicely?

EDIT: Based on my GPU temps, it looks like neither card is being used very much. I tried the settings that were in a thread below and all I got was a dip in FPS. Now running at around 10 FPS.

ANOTHER EDIT: So, back to default nVidia settings. GPU 1 temp is where it should be, FPS over london are playable at 20+. GPU 2 is still not being used. I thought they released an SLI patch, or am I just imagining things?

Use the forum search function to look for a thread titled "SLI is working" or something similar. Alternatively, use the forum search to look for posts made by 335th_GRAthos.

He was posting in that thread along with other users and giving some good advice.

There's not a dedicated cliffs of dover SLI profile yet in the drivers, so it involves manually setting some things in the drivers options, but they were very thorough in their explanations and posted some screenshots too confirming it works.

I think that thread is your best bet, cheers ;)

Here are the settings I've found the best results with in FULLSCREEN.

On the nVidia Inspector, as Grathos says...

SLI Compatibility bits (DX10): 0x000000F5

NVIDIA predefined SLI mode on DirectX 10: SLI_PREDEFINED_MODE_DX10_FORCE_AFR2

Using my GPU temps as a guage, I can conclude that they are being used in SLI, and that by doing so my FPS has increased by around 15-25. HOWEVER, it's almost rendered unplayable (or at least super annoying) due to flickering water. Plus, there's still random stuttering here and there (mainly over land/cities). Land/cities still end up being half FPS, and I think some of that has to do with the fact that they're somehow using less of the GPUs' processing power, as the temps are lower overall.

This game still needs a few more patches and nVidia needs to release a profile for it. Can't wait to play the game in all its glory...
